18th century Chinese fan. Made in China for export to Europe. The mount is in ivory, it is finely pierced and engraved. The leaf is double, skin and paper. It is painted in gouache of a landscape with Asian and European characters. Some old restorations are visible on the back of the leaf. The fan is 12,20 Inches long when closed and 20,26 inches in diameter when open
