Victorian French Umbrella, Parasol, Lace

Victorian French Umbrella, Parasol. Rare handle on its lower part with a dominant color closer to blond scale, and wooden on the upper part. Silk and lace have been replaced by Parasolerie Heurtault, specialist in the restoration of vicorian and edwardian parasols and designer of haute couture umbrellas (http://parasolerieheurtault.com/). Period lace has been used and the parasol is again exactly as it was in the 19th century. It is in excellent condition and can be used. It measures 24,41 inches long and around 19,68 inches in diameter. A blackened metal sliding ring allows it to be folded in half.
France, circa 1860.
