Perfume Cellar, Mother-of-pearl Egg, Circa 1850

Perfume cellar. Mother-of-pearl egg surrounded by brass. By pressing on the top, it opens in two parts revealing four perfume bottles with silver caps, two of which also have small glass interior caps. The set is on an alabaster plinth. The whole is 9,25 inches high, the vials are 3,47 inches high. Rare in this condition. France, circa 1850.
