Art Nouveau Fan, Gouache On Silk, Circa 1900

Art Nouveau fan. The leaf is silk, it is painted with a woman surrounded by flowers and plants in a typical Art Nouveau style. The mount is carved bone gilded and painted. A small restoration visible on the back of the frame and the lining of the leaf on the back was later changed. The whole fan is in very good condition. It measures 10,033 long closed, and about 15,74″ in open diameter.
