19 ThC cane. Knob cane called “Opera”, it is in 18 carat gold (750/1000). Hallmark “Greek doctor’s head” applied in France from 1838 to 1919 on gold articles. The pommel is 3,9 inches long and 1,77 inches high. Very beautiful barrel in amourette wood. Bone ferrule. The entire cane is 34,84 inches long. France, late 19th century.
