Fan signed Van Garden. Silk leaf painted with gouache of a riverside landscape where washerwomen wash clothes. Signature of the Van Garden fan painter on the lower left, and signature of the fan maker Duvelleroy in Paris on the back. Tortoiseshell sticks. It is 12,79″ long and about 24,01″ in diameter. Perfect condition. France, Paris, circa 1900.
