Antique French Fan Signed Donzel, 19 Th Century

Antique French Fan signed Donzel. Mother-of-pearl sticks, numbered “MR” under a count’s crown. Superb skin leaf, painted in gouache of three characters, a young man serenades a young woman at her window, watched by another young woman holding a fan. Signed lower left by Donzel. The fan is 11,61 inches long when closed and 22,04 inches in diameter when open. France, circa 1880.
