Lace fan, mother of pearl, XIX ThC

Lace fan, Brussels lace on black tulle decorated with doves, flowers and branches. Beautiful mother-of-pearl engraved, decorated with three cartels engraved with characters and flower baskets. It measures 10,62″ closed and 20,07″ in open diameter. It is in good condition, but note a discreet lack of mother of pearl at the bottom of the basket, visible on the right of the photo and an old restoration almost invisible on one of the master stick.
