Art Nouveau Fan, circa 1900
Art nouveau Fan. Rare fan whose leaf is beautifully painted silk of a young Venus surrounded by flowers and foliage, gilt scrolls and two putti. The mount is bone, it is engraved, reperce and painted, gold and silver. The fan is 12,20″ long and about 15,75″ wide. Discrete old restorations on the bottom of the bone mount.
