Antique umbrella 1850, carved of a Robin hood head
Antique umbrella. Rare umbrella, Second Empire Period, long carved ivory handle. The end of the handle being carved with a thin Robin Hood’s head. The silk has been changed in the rules of art by Michel Heurtault, specialist in the restoration of antique umbrellas and parasols. (http://parasolerieheurtault.com/). The umbrella is 33,46″ long and 27,56″ in diameter. It is in perfect condition and can be used. France, circa 1850.
